Send your mom a gift that helps local moms feed their kids

This Mother’s Day, recognize the moms you love most by making a donation to support mothers in need. Contribute at least $25 to Food for Others and we will send a personalized card to a mom in your life.  

 

FFO provides food at Fairfax County Health Department's Equity Clinic

Food for Others offered a special food distribution at Lerner Morningside Apartments in Alexandria in partnership with the Fairfax County Health Department. The area has had a high COVID-19 infection rate and many of the residents were hesitant to get vaccinated or were unable to register online. At the distribution, Fairfax County offered vaccine education and helped register those who were interested. 100 people who attended the food distribution registered and were vaccinated at an equity clinic the next day. 

 

Volunteer in our warehouse in May & June!

We need warehouse volunteers for May, and signups are now open through end of June. Click the button below to sign up! We are also looking for a volunteer to deliver to our Gunston Neighborhood Site in May.

 

Does your company offer matching gifts?

If you'd like to double the impact of your donation, see if your company offers to match your gift. Some companies will offer to double or triple the original donation. Your employer may also make donations to Food for Others for volunteer hours recorded at FFO.
