Take on FFO's 30-Day Hunger Action Challenge

September is Hunger Action Month! At a time when more people than ever are experiencing hunger, you can make a difference by participating in FFO's Hunger Action 30-day Challenge. Print out our calendar and complete one action every day in September to fight hunger in Northern Virginia. 

 

Register for the VIRTUAL FFO Tysons 5K & Fun Run by Sept 10 to be guaranteed a race shirt!

Our annual Tysons 5K is just a month away! Complete your race between Sept 25 - Sept 27. You can run on your treadmill, jog your favorite trail, or walk around your neighborhood. Sign up as an individual or get a team together. Don't forget to take photos and post on social media using the hashtag #Foodforothers5K. All participants who register before September 10 will receive a Food for Others 5K t-shirt mailed to their home.

 

Welcome New Staff! Patrick Silas

Patrick is FFO's newest warehouse staff member and truck driver for our CARES mobile sites. He delivers food to families who live in high-poverty areas that would otherwise be unable to access FFO’s services. Patrick is especially passionate about helping individuals facing food insecurity and loves that his job is an opportunity to give back. Patrick is a Denver, CO native who loves hiking, cooking, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
